For the last 2 Sunday's Making of the Musician has been on the radio.

This will keep happening until we run out of episodes or ideas.

For the next two week's you should hear Mark James from Untidy Music and untidy radio himself at 7pm Melbourne, Australian time and 8am in Manchester, England, the home of each of the shows.

Making of the Musician is going backwards on the radio so after Mark their will be me and then Cris Sirc.

I was quite humbled and shocked when Mark thought my podcast was good enough for radio and with his spirit of giving back to music and musicians through Bandcamp it suits my anti-capitalist ethos for Making of a Musician with a place to find music without advertising.

So I really appreciate the support and it has made my heart truly sing to hear the show on the internet and not just through my site. Also the best and greatest part is Mark puts together the songs highlighted and by the Musician themselves for an hour after the podcast and it awesome to hear the tracks this way too, it gives a better understanding of the actual Music around the Musician interviewed. I just love it so I hope you can give it a listen.

Untidyradio.com is essentially community radio but on a global scale.

It is international and focused on independent and DIY music, non genre specific and non commercial. 

It is about music discovery like back in the pre internet days, when you just put on the radio and then had to wait again to hear it again before you could find out the name of the band or artist and then go hunt it down in a record store, but nowadays Bandcamp.

Hopefully people can just tune in and find something new or old. Music is mixed with Untidy Music’s record collection and artist submissions at the moment but is open to suggested music and shows.

I have been trying to update the site and fix some audio issues from the earlier episodes and I will make a new post about music I have seen and what I am about to see.
