Escapder EP
From August to December 2022 Sometimes Anderson recorded an EP containing 4 songs.
It is now available on Bandcamp and Apple Music.
The EP is called Escapader as I use to escape my family home before the age of 5.
The main aim was to have breakfast with my best friend's Dad or to go to school with my brother.
The principal of the school lived next door and he didn't like me coming to school but relented once and let me come to school when I was 4 to show everyone a red back spider (it was in a jar).
The escapader was a fearless young person full of adventure and loved music.
I appreciate her.
One night when she was 5 everything changed.
She is the one I am telling to run or to speak out, because nothing can be fixed in silence in the song That Girl.
These 4 songs were written over 10 years and are all audiobiographical in some ways. From missing my son's call to running into someone I was not talking to at the Reject Shop.
Recorded at SoundPark Studio and Produced and mixed by Andrew (Idge) and Me. Andrew is also an excellent vocal coach and I learn so much every time I work with him.
All songs started by me but also belong to:
Richard Anderson, Steven Bruce and Andrew Hehir
