New Episodes, planned episodes and everything else!

Sorry it has been a while since I have written any news. We have been having a bit of a hard time in our house over the last few months and it is hard sometimes to just keep your head up above the water when treading. Hopefully now with a few more supports in place things start getting to some sort of normal, whatever normal is.

This week I finally got part 1 of Kira J's episode out and I hope to be able to catch her live in May. The best part of hosting this podcast is getting to really listen to each of the Musicians music and I really loved hearing how Kira comes up with her songs. She also taught me about Budapest, a dolpin in Ireland and what it is like to grow up with a Dad in a folk band.

Part 2 should be out by the end of the week and also on Thursday I am interviewing Gale Bird, a whole band from South Carolina and I really know nothing about South Carolina but some of the podcasts I listen to like Pretty, Lies and Alibis and IHIP and that it is next to North Carolina and that is where Archers of Loaf come from.

I have been listening to Gale Bird's music over the last few days and I am so excited to talk to them about how they write the songs and how amazing their harmonies are! You can find some of their music here and I think they need a whole lot of followers. https://www.youtube.com/@GaleBirdMusic

I do plan to get out Episode 6 featuring Idge from Soundpark Studios and the Flickering Stars in May too.

I also have some plans to do some 10 years later episodes with Ben Smith, Jordan Bakker and Billy Abbot and maybe even do them live. But really at the moment I am focusing on Kira's next part of her episode and getting some great questions together for Gale Bird.

Take care!
